Super proud of all our Exeter sailors for their performance at BUCS Team Racing 2019 – Exeter Blue won the finals to take away a BUCS gold medal! They were followed by Cambridge Blue in 2nd place, with Southampton Green in 3rd.
Exeter Black also a fab weekend of racing and finished 19th out of 28: a result to be proud of, considering the high standard of competition.

“We thoroughly enjoyed arguably the best team racing event we’ve ever been to! Day 2 bought beautiful sunshine, but our results didn’t pick up as much as we wanted. Some good lessons were learned and we came back with a relaxed mentality for day three, where we managed to do some excellent team racing and capitalise on 3/4races! This bounced us back up to a respectable 10 wins, 2 wins away from being in the mix for quarter final spots. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable week!”
